Full day with Ancient Visitor

Our full-day Roman workshop for primary school pupils offers an immersive, curriculum-aligned experience that vividly brings Ancient Rome to life. Throughout the day, students will delve into the fascinating world of Roman gods and goddesses, uncover the legendary myths behind Rome's founding, and engage with tools and objects that were integral to everyday Roman life, including handling real artefacts that connect them directly to the past. They’ll also learn and play traditional Roman games, examine authentic weapons and armour, and participate in re-enactments of famous Roman battles around Britain, providing a dynamic and interactive way to understand the discipline and strategy of the Roman army.
